Your All-In-One Reference Site!

I really love the dictionary that is built-in to OS X Leopard. There are times, however, when the OS X dictionary comes up short. When this happens, I turn to Dictionary.com. Dictionary.com is a complete online resource, brought to you by Ask.com.

Dictionary.com is more than just an online dictionary, it also contains a thesaurus, reference, and a new translation section. I love the word of the day feature. You can also find rules for Grammer & Style, word games, webmaster tools, and a whole bunch of other stuff. They even have a new companion iPhone App–and it’s free! Dictionary.com also offers a premium membership (see site for details).

So if your a blogger, like myself, having a dictionary at your fingertips is vital for writing. Dictionary.com makes it easy–easier than having a big tome taking up valuable desk space. Besides that, it’s a lot better than thumbing through a bunch of pages to look up a word–so old school.
