Wordulous
Word Scramble On Steroids!
Rating:

When 99 Games asked me to review their latest title, Wordulous, I was excited. Their last word game I reviewed for them, WordsWorth, was so addicting, it has remained one of my favorites to this day. 99 Games really does a fantastic job with all their titles, and Wordulous is no exception.
The best way to describe Wordulous, in my view, would be to call it a word scramble game on steroids. The basic premise of the game is it gives you some scrambled letters that you use to make words. There’s a list of blank words above(represented by a dash for each letter in the word), and you go about forming words with the letters to fill-in all the possible words on the list. There’s a timer to keep you on your toes, while Wordulous keeps score. You have in-game options of re-scrambling the letters, or hitting the give up button, to see the words you missed. Wordulous keeps a Leaders Scoreboard, with a global feature to see how well you match up with other players around the world. There’s a Challenge section, where you can challenge others from your contacts list, or through FaceBook. Feeling a little rusty, Wordulous has a practice section, which has eliminated the timer. Wordulous has an excellent tutorial to help you get started, and of course has a settings section for sound options, etc.
If your a word game junkie, like myself, Wordulous is a must for your collection. It’s a great value for all the fun you’ll have with it; and a price that’s hard to beat. Check it out today, you can thank me later.
