Let me tell you about an app for your iPhone/iPod Touch that will let you watch live TV. It’s called TVUPlayer, and it will get give you access to 300 channels from around the globe.
Let’s face it, there are a lot of amazing things the iPhone brings to the palm of your hand, and now with TVUPlayer, You can actually watch live TV. Now I will admit, that amongst the 300 channels, there isn’t a lot of premium networks. There are news, sports, music, movies, and foreign channels, as well as others. Heck, with 300 channels, there’s something for everybody. I love the fishing channel, and also the 80’s music video channel.
I first downloaded this app when I had my original iPhone, and I can honestly say, this app runs 100 percent better on my new iPhone 3GS. The difference is night and day. Before the channels would cut out or freeze, but now I get virtually no hiccups. The only concern I have with this app is the price, but when compared with other apps out there, the price can be justified. They also have a desktop client available for both Windows, and Mac.
